FREE DAY

While we want camping out at Midwood Barkery to be a great experience , we recognize it can be stressful being away from moms and dads. Staying at Midwood Barkery is not for all dogs. Our Barkstaff go to great lengths to determine if Midwood Barkery is a good fit for your furry friend!

Dogs who have not camped with us before, or if a significant period of absence has passed, a free day evaluation may be required to attend a day of daycare or boarding. This may also be required of senior dogs, to make sure that they are able to handle a boarding environment. And while we don’t like saying no, we may instruct you that it just isn’t a good fit for your pup! If we believe that it is not a good idea to stay with us, this is only for the safety of all our furry friends.

The “free day” is an opportunity for us to meet your dog It’s an all day thing!

IMPORTANT: Please plan ahead when scheduling your “free day”our facilities have large outdoor play yards that the dogs get to play in, all day long.
Daycare reservations are highly recommended. We’ll usually accept a limited number of walk-ins for daycare. If you have a daycare reservation,or you have a monthly pass, your “barking spot” is guaranteed.

Care for Sick Dogs

Any meds that need to be administered, all the hugs, and anything else. All dogs must be in good health and current on all vaccinations. But even with the best care, doggies can still get sick

Any dogs that we suspect of being sick are removed from play and put into an area where they won’t get other dogs sick.

If we think your dog is sick, you will be immediately called to make arrangements to have your dog picked up and appropriately cared for.
